We are currently developing a ‘U-Pick’ orchard/garden at the front of our property. The area has been a family apple orchard for over 80 years and has been the location of many neighborhood cider squeezing parties. Now, the 2-acre orchard has been enclosed in a deer-proof/bear-proof fence so we can expand to include multiple varieties of vegetables, fruit, and flowers. We also utilize the grazing areas of the enclosure for our field pigs and lambs.  Our future orchard will be designed to function as both a garden and as a space for teaching classes and hosting events.

In addition to our ‘U-Pick’ garden, we have a greenhouse and several outdoor gardens along the hillside and in the duck yard where we grow vegetables, pumpkins, squash, rhubarb, and raspberries.
